Overview of the Sichuan Cuisine Innovation Competition

The competition is divided into two categories: team and individual. There are four individual competitions: hot dishes, cold dishes, pastries, and food carving. The competition is divided into two stages: the first stage involves teams and individual contestants competing in their respective regions; the second stage involves the gold medalists from the regional competitions participating in the finals to compete for the special gold award.

Registration Requirements

Any individual engaged in Sichuan cuisine cooking with a technical title of intermediate level or above, as well as catering enterprises and schools with culinary programs, are eligible to participate. Registration is handled by the local culinary (catering, restaurant) industry associations in each city and prefecture, or contestants can register online directly and obtain relevant registration materials.

Reward Settings

Apart from the gold, silver, and copper awards and professional title evaluations, this Sichuan Cuisine Innovation Competition also offers substantial cash prizes. The individual contestant who receives the first place in online voting will be awarded a cash prize of 4,999 yuan, while the team that secures the first place in online voting will win a cash prize of 50,000 yuan, and be awarded a plaque and certificate of honor for being one of the ten most popular restaurants.
